ApTap Partners with Lloyds, Halifax, and Barclays to Enhance Bill Management and Savings

Lloyds Banking Group Collaboration

Lloyds Banking Group has integrated ApTap’s bill management tool into the Home Wise and HelloHome mortgage hubs on the Lloyds Bank and Halifax mobile apps. These hubs will now help customers gain insights into their broadband, energy, and mobile phone contracts, and enable them to switch providers for better deals. Carolyne Gregory, head of product management (homes) for Lloyds, highlighted potential savings of “hundreds of pounds a year” from this feature.

Barclays Partnership

Barclays has also partnered with ApTap to offer bill management and switching services through its mobile banking app. This partnership, stemming from ApTap’s participation in the Rise Growth Academy and Barclays Eagle Labs Black Founders Accelerator, aims to save customers money on mobile, broadband, and SIM products, with plans for more exclusive deals in the future. Claire Smith, Product Manager at Barclays, emphasised the innovation and customer-first approach of this partnership.

On average, ApTap customers have saved over £217 by switching to cheaper providers. Will Billingsley, co-founder and CEO of ApTap, noted the importance of helping customers make better financial decisions, especially during the cost-of-living crisis.
